Chooice NZ
Origins
Chooice (with two Os for more ‘owesome’) is a 100% Kiwi owned and operated marketplace that makes it easier than ever to support Kiwi creators. From small businesses to hobbyists and even side hustlers!
Created during our first lockdown, Chooice quickly became the largest Facebook group in New Zealand and is known for its huge range of unique handcrafted goods.
Opportunity
Reaching the right audience is a common challenge for small businesses. To better support them, we focused on strengthening our connection with both sellers and their customers. As Chooice grew, I led the evolution of its visual identity — refreshing marketing materials, building an illustration library, redesigning the website, and managing all digital marketing and site operations.

The
Opportunity
Aligning our Brand Platform
The brand platform needed to be tailored and refined to better align with Trade Me’s evolving identity.
High Volume Production Challenges
Over 1,000+ assets had to be produced under tight deadlines, requiring streamlined workflows and asset management.
Ineffective Messaging
Our creative approach needed to change as it relied on word-heavy assets like slam poetry, which our audience research showed was ineffective.
